Guided tour in DGS (German sign language)
for visitors with hearing impairments

Deaf art educator Sieglinde Lemcke and artist Veronika Kranzpiller are offering exhibition talks in German Sign Language (DGS) at the Käthe Kollwitz Museum Berlin, focusing on the current special exhibitions.

The tours, lasting approximately 120 minutes, are aimed at deaf visitors whose native language is German Sign Language, as well as at an audience proficient in sign language.

The special exhibition “Käthe Kollwitz and the Theatre” provides the first comprehensive insight into Käthe Kollwitz’s passion for the theatre and its influence on her work. It also highlights her family’s close ties to the stage during a formative period in Berlin’s theatre history.
