Getting here

The museum is located in the Theaterbau near the Charlottenburg Palace, so you can easily reach us by public transport or by car.

Extensive renovation work is currently taking place in the Palace gardens. Don’t be fooled by the impression of the building site – we are open for you.

Local public transport

The nearest bus stops are Klausenerplatz (M45, 309) circa 80 m on foot directly into the park past the car park and Luisenplatz/Schloss Charlottenburg (109) circa 600 metres on foot along Spandauer Damm in a westerly direction.

The nearest barrier-free train stations with wheelchair-accessible entrances are Westend S-Bahn station (S41, S42, S46) circa 900 metres on foot along Spandauer Damm to the east and Richard-Wagner-Platz U-Bahn station (U7) circa 1100 metres on foot along Otto-Suhr-Allee and Spandauer Damm.

Parking spaces

There are parking spaces (for a fee) near the park entrance towards the Theaterbau and near the Orangerie.
