Käthe Kollwitz Museum Berlin

The Kollwitz Museum Berlin had enjoyed success in the Fasanenstraße since it was founded in 1986. In September 2022, a new chapter in the museum’s history began with its move to the Theater Building at the Charlottenburg Palace.

The museum was founded by art dealer and collector Hans Pels-Leusden — a legend in the West Berlin gallery scene.

The museum’s art collection provides a broad overview of the artist’s oeuvre, which is presented chronologically in the permanent exhibition.
