75 participating museums and over 750 events await Berlin culture night owls on the night of August 30. The Kollwitz Museum is also opening its doors bet­ween 18.00 and 2.00 in ad­dition to its usual opening hours and is offering a varied program under this year’s motto “Love in Berlin”.

In the joint treasure hunt organised by the Charlotten­burg museums, you will dis­cover special objects that tell dif­ferent stories of love – some­times romantic, some­times tragic, some­times sur­prising. Whether grand gestures or quiet moments – those who find all the stations will experience love in all its forms. At each station, you will receive a small tattoo as a souvenir of this journey into the world of love.

Partici­pating museums include the Bröhan Museum, the Käthe Kollwitz Museum Berlin, the Museum Charlotten­burg-Wilmersdorf in Villa Oppen­heim, the Scharf-Gersten­berg Collection, and Charlotten­burg Palace with its New Wing and Grand Orangery.

Experience Käthe Kollwitz as an interactive avatar! A highlight for all visitors who want to interact directly with a historical figure – available in 55 languages, verbally or in writing. In our cabinet on the first floor, the virtual Käthe Kollwitz takes the museum experience to a whole new, personal level.

During the Museumnight, you will have the opportunity to get to know the Hungarian wines of the Neukölln wine shop BorStore during a wine tasting.

Treat yourself to a glass of wine between our events and enjoy a relaxing evening at the Kollwitz Museum at Charlottenburg Palace.

Take advantage of the Lange Nacht Bus Shuttle!

 

Once again this year, you have the opportunity to travel from museum to museum on a specially organized Lange-Nacht-Bus­shuttle.

The four bus shuttles (red, yellow, green and blue lines) serve museums located outside the city centre and often take you right to their doorsteps.

Our museum is located on the red line, which connects 25 museums. It runs from Charlottenburg Palace via Zoo Station, Leipziger Platz/Kulturforum and Checkpoint Charlie to the Jewish Museum in Kreuzberg.

The stop for the Kollwitz Museum is Luisen­platz/Schloss Charlotten­burg.

The buses run every 15 minutes between 19.00 and 1.00
