Here you can find an overview of upcoming free museum Sundays

Berlin’s museums are here for everyone. From July 4, 2021, admission is free on the first Sunday of every month. Museum Sunday is an initiative by the State of Berlin in cooperation with the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media and the State Association of Museums in Berlin. Museum Sunday is an opportunity for Berlin’s museums to get even more people interested in the city’s diverse cultural offerings. Everyone is warmly invited to embark on a voyage of discovery with their friends and families. All are welcome.

Our program on May 1, 2022:

Printing workshop

12.00 – 15.00

Käthe Kollwitz not only drew pictures, but also produced prints – for example for leaflets and posters, such as her famous “Never again war!” poster.

In the workshop, you will learn more about artistic printing techniques, see examples of Käthe Kollwitz’s pictures in the exhibition and get to know the great expressiveness of this visual language. Afterwards, participants can create their own works using a similar technique and really express themselves!

The workshop is offered in cooperation with Jugend Im Museum e.V.
