The vacation course “Print yourself out” asks the question: What do I discover in my surroundings and how do I express my thoughts pictorially?<\/h4>\n

[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”3\/4″][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1669133415026{margin-right: 50px !important;padding-right: 50px !important;}”]K\u00e4the Kollwitz (1867 – 1945) – one of the most famous artists of her time – moved to Berlin as a newly married young woman. She found it exciting to observe life and the people around her. Sometimes she sat on a park bench and drew mothers with children, sometimes she accompanied her husband on visits to the sick and recorded the suffering of the poor. The artist developed certain themes over decades and implemented them in various techniques – for example, the motif of “mothers protecting their children” in lithography, woodcut and also as a bronze sculpture.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1669133436869{margin-right: 50px !important;padding-right: 50px !important;}”]During a visit to the K\u00e4the Kollwitz Museum, participants will be inspired by the works of the socially sensitive artist. Subsequently, the neighborhood in Charlottenburg-Nord will be examined with fresh eyes and artistic means. Which themes did K\u00e4the Kollwitz find important, and which do we notice today? In the studio, participants will develop their own drawing messages and experiment with the effects of screen printing. The presentation of the results at the Youth Art School concludes the vacation course.[\/vc_column_text]

K\u00e4the Kollwitz hat nicht nur Bilder gezeichnet, sondern auch Druckgraphiken hergestellt – zum Beispiel f\u00fcr Flugbl\u00e4tter und Plakate, wie ihr ber\u00fchmtes Plakat “Nie wieder Krieg!”.<\/p>\n

Im Workshop gibt es n\u00e4heres \u00fcber k\u00fcnstlerische Drucktechniken zu erfahren, Bildbeispiele von K\u00e4the Kollwitz in der Ausstellung zu sehen und die gro\u00dfe Ausdruckskraft dieser Bildsprache kennenzulernen. Anschlie\u00dfend k\u00f6nnen eigene Werke mit einem \u00e4hnlichen Verfahren gestaltet und sich dabei so richtig ausgedruckt werden!<\/p>\n

Der Workshop wird in Kooperation mit Jugend Im Museum<\/em>\u00a0e.V. angeboten.<\/p>\n

Mit spannenden kulturhistorischen und biografischen Hintergrundinformationen werden die Zeichnungen, Graphiken und Plastiken von K\u00e4the Kollwitz in den zeitlichen Kontext gesetzt.<\/p>\n

Der Multimedia-Guide ist bequem auf dem eigenen Smartphone im Browser zu \u00f6ffnen \u2013 eine App zu installieren ist nicht notwendig.<\/p>\n
