We had to come to terms with the new situation: Hygiene and distance rules were communicated, measures to restrict contact were developed and implemented.We are grateful to have overcome this critical phase relatively smoothly and hope that we will be able to start unrestricted at the new location in the fall.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_separator][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/6″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_single_image image=”7863″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/6″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1656431271172{padding-left: 10px !important;}”]On Monday, our first closing day, we received deliveries of packing materials for the move to Fasanenstrasse. The first major packing activity followed in no time: the library in the director’s office was cleared out and safely stowed in boxes. The before and after pictures once again visualize the move, which was much discussed and planned and is now actually in full swing.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”7875″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” onclick=”link_image” css=”.vc_custom_1656419898255{margin-right: 0px !important;margin-left: 0px !important;border-right-width: 0px !important;border-left-width: 0px !important;padding-right: 0px !important;padding-left: 0px !important;}”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”7873″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”7865″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/4″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/6″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″][vc_single_image image=”7871″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” onclick=”link_image” css=”.vc_custom_1656421362307{margin-right: 0px !important;margin-left: 0px !important;border-right-width: 0px !important;border-left-width: 0px !important;padding-right: 0px !important;padding-left: 0px !important;}”][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/6″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_separator][vc_row_inner disable_element=”yes”][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”6465″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center” css=”.vc_custom_1640009533987{margin-right: 40px !important;margin-left: 0px !important;border-right-width: 40px !important;border-left-width: 0px !important;padding-right: 40px !important;padding-left: 0px !important;}”][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1640009549246{margin-right: 40px !important;border-right-width: 40px !important;padding-right: 40px !important;}”]

Heinrich Zille, Straßenmädchen, 1902, Farbradierung ©Privatsammlung

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_row_inner disable_element=”yes”][vc_column_inner][vc_separator][vc_single_image image=”6733″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” css=”.vc_custom_1640010026516{margin-right: 40px !important;margin-left: 20px !important;border-right-width: 40px !important;border-left-width: 20px !important;padding-right: 40px !important;padding-left: 20px !important;}”][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1640009981939{margin-right: 40px !important;margin-left: 20px !important;border-right-width: 40px !important;border-left-width: 20px !important;padding-right: 40px !important;padding-left: 20px !important;}”]Lotte Reiniger, 1926 Stadtmuseum Tübingen © VG Bild-Kunst, Bonn 2022

Lotte Jacobi, Selbstporträt, 1929 Berlinische Galerie © 2022 University of New Hampshire, USA

[/vc_column_text][vc_separator][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner]

[/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″][/vc_column][/vc_row]

June 28, 2022
Last Sunday, June 26, was our last exhibition day and we had a pleasantly large crowd.
