School project day<\/h2>\n

\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

The workshop is based on rarely seen, delicate drawings by K\u00e4the Kollwitz from a private collection. The people portrayed in the drawings appear introverted \u2013 their eyes closed, covered or gazing away in the distance. A moment of silence has been captured in chalk and pencil.<\/p>\n

These scenes seem like time has stopped for a moment. We ask ourselves: What happened before or after this moment? How do the people in the pictures feel? How might their story continue?<\/p>\n

We also take a look at social conditions and living standards in Berlin \u2013 in the past, at the end of the 19th century, and today. Each participant chooses a picture that particularly appeals to and challenges them to tell its story. In the educational room, they work in small groups to develop their own narratives, which are recorded in drawings in a shared leporello.[\/vc_column_text]

K\u00e4the Kollwitz hat nicht nur Bilder gezeichnet, sondern auch Druckgraphiken hergestellt – zum Beispiel f\u00fcr Flugbl\u00e4tter und Plakate, wie ihr ber\u00fchmtes Plakat “Nie wieder Krieg!”.<\/p>\n

Im Workshop gibt es n\u00e4heres \u00fcber k\u00fcnstlerische Drucktechniken zu erfahren, Bildbeispiele von K\u00e4the Kollwitz in der Ausstellung zu sehen und die gro\u00dfe Ausdruckskraft dieser Bildsprache kennenzulernen. Anschlie\u00dfend k\u00f6nnen eigene Werke mit einem \u00e4hnlichen Verfahren gestaltet und sich dabei so richtig ausgedruckt werden!<\/p>\n

Der Workshop wird in Kooperation mit Jugend Im Museum<\/em>\u00a0e.V. angeboten.<\/p>\n

Mit spannenden kulturhistorischen und biografischen Hintergrundinformationen werden die Zeichnungen, Graphiken und Plastiken von K\u00e4the Kollwitz in den zeitlichen Kontext gesetzt.<\/p>\n

Der Multimedia-Guide ist bequem auf dem eigenen Smartphone im Browser zu \u00f6ffnen \u2013 eine App zu installieren ist nicht notwendig.<\/p>\n
