City-wide campaign day on November 20, 2025<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Free admission to the Kollwitz Museum for Berlin volunteers<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1764112481851{margin-right: 50px !important;padding-right: 50px !important;}”]On Saturday, November 29, 2025, numerous cultural and leisure facilities will be taking part in the Berlin-wide “Berlin says thank you!” campaign.<\/p>\n

With this day of action, the Berlin Senate, the House of Representatives and numerous partners are honouring the many volunteers in Berlin for their diverse voluntary work. Almost 40% of people in Germany are involved in voluntary work. Each and every one of them makes a valuable contribution to the cohesion of society on a daily basis and deserves our thanks for their tireless commitment![\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1763390339326{margin-right: 50px !important;padding-right: 50px !important;}”]The K\u00e4the Kollwitz Museum is also very keen to be part of the “Berlin says thank you!” campaign, as the museum also benefits from the volunteer members of its supporting organisation.<\/p>\n

Therefore, all volunteers are cordially invited to visit the museum free of charge on November 29, 2025 upon presentation of their volunteer card.<\/p>\n

Many Berlin organisations would like to give volunteers a visible thank-you for their commitment with various offers. Anyone interested can put together their own personal favourite programme for November 29, from the wide range on offer.<\/p>\n

K\u00e4the Kollwitz hat nicht nur Bilder gezeichnet, sondern auch Druckgraphiken hergestellt – zum Beispiel f\u00fcr Flugbl\u00e4tter und Plakate, wie ihr ber\u00fchmtes Plakat “Nie wieder Krieg!”.<\/p>\n

Im Workshop gibt es n\u00e4heres \u00fcber k\u00fcnstlerische Drucktechniken zu erfahren, Bildbeispiele von K\u00e4the Kollwitz in der Ausstellung zu sehen und die gro\u00dfe Ausdruckskraft dieser Bildsprache kennenzulernen. Anschlie\u00dfend k\u00f6nnen eigene Werke mit einem \u00e4hnlichen Verfahren gestaltet und sich dabei so richtig ausgedruckt werden!<\/p>\n

Der Workshop wird in Kooperation mit Jugend Im Museum<\/em>\u00a0e.V. angeboten.<\/p>\n

Mit spannenden kulturhistorischen und biografischen Hintergrundinformationen werden die Zeichnungen, Graphiken und Plastiken von K\u00e4the Kollwitz in den zeitlichen Kontext gesetzt.<\/p>\n

Der Multimedia-Guide ist bequem auf dem eigenen Smartphone im Browser zu \u00f6ffnen \u2013 eine App zu installieren ist nicht notwendig.<\/p>\n
