As part of the Berlin Fairy Tale Days, exciting events for fairy tale fans are offered throughout Berlin. Music plays a special role this year: it brings people together across generations and cultures, offers comfort, inspires hope and brings stories to life in a very special way.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Berlin Fairy Tale Days are taking place for the 37th time (from 5 to 22 November 2026). This year\u2019s theme is \u2018The Magic Flute and the Star Harp \u2013 Music in Fairy Tales and Stories\u2019.<\/p>\n

Music is far more than a collection of sounds \u2013 it is a universal language that brings people together when words alone are not enough. It also works its magic in fairy tales and stories: it can touch hearts, open up new paths and transform loneliness into a sense of community. A well-known example is the Brothers Grimm\u2019s *The Bremen Town Musicians*, in which singing together opens up new horizons for four outsiders. Works such as *The Magic Flute* and *Peter and the Wolf* also demonstrate how music recounts adventures, sparks the imagination and brings people together.<\/p>\n

Here at the K\u00e4the Kollwitz Museum, on Sunday 8 November 2026<\/strong>, Sergei Prokofiev\u2019s musical fairy tale *Peter and the Wolf* will come to life as an atmospheric shadow puppet show accompanied by orchestral music.<\/p>\n

K\u00e4the Kollwitz hat nicht nur Bilder gezeichnet, sondern auch Druckgraphiken hergestellt – zum Beispiel f\u00fcr Flugbl\u00e4tter und Plakate, wie ihr ber\u00fchmtes Plakat “Nie wieder Krieg!”.<\/p>\n

Im Workshop gibt es n\u00e4heres \u00fcber k\u00fcnstlerische Drucktechniken zu erfahren, Bildbeispiele von K\u00e4the Kollwitz in der Ausstellung zu sehen und die gro\u00dfe Ausdruckskraft dieser Bildsprache kennenzulernen. Anschlie\u00dfend k\u00f6nnen eigene Werke mit einem \u00e4hnlichen Verfahren gestaltet und sich dabei so richtig ausgedruckt werden!<\/p>\n

Der Workshop wird in Kooperation mit Jugend Im Museum<\/em>\u00a0e.V. angeboten.<\/p>\n

Mit spannenden kulturhistorischen und biografischen Hintergrundinformationen werden die Zeichnungen, Graphiken und Plastiken von K\u00e4the Kollwitz in den zeitlichen Kontext gesetzt.<\/p>\n

Der Multimedia-Guide ist bequem auf dem eigenen Smartphone im Browser zu \u00f6ffnen \u2013 eine App zu installieren ist nicht notwendig.<\/p>\n
