Kollwitz 2.0 – art meets Augmented Reality

Are you passionate about art and new technologies? Fancy a cool mix of real and virtual worlds?

Our creative lab is all about a virtual room installation in the museum. The starting point is the impressive drawings by Käthe Kollwitz. Let the image flow into the room and add your own ideas and elements!

This is all about mixed realities and media: we use analog techniques such as drawings, photos or collages to create our own components. They are digitized and brought together in Unity to create an augmented reality app. The marker image is a work of art – as soon as it is scanned with a camera, the designed elements appear as digital overlays in the museum space.
