Kollwitz 2.0 – art meets Augmented Reality

Do you love art and are you interested in new technologies? Are you looking for an exciting mix of real and virtual worlds?

This holiday course is all about mixed reality. The starting point is the impressive drawings of Käthe Kollwitz. Which of her works appeals to you most? Add your own ideas and creative elements! Using analogue techniques such as drawings, photographs or collages, you will create your own contributions, which will then be digitised. With the help of an augmented reality app, your works will be combined with the original artworks. When you scan the artworks in the museum with your mobile phone, your digital additions will appear directly in the room – as a virtual extension of reality.

The best results from the workshop will become part of a permanently visible AR tour in the museum!
